What is a High Performance Electric Machine?
High performance electric machines are characterized by their rotational speed, system efficiency, power density, and ability to function in extreme conditions. Typically operating in excess of 50,000 revolutions per minute (RPM), these electric machines run faster and hotter while achieving higher efficiency in a smaller package.

- High Power Density Cabin Air Pressure Motor — Inconel-sleeved RECOMA® SmCo balanced rotor, which is part of 180KW system that operates in excess of 200°C for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner
