HOW TO USE THE TECHNOLOGY CENTER

How do you use the Technology Center to your advantage? You may start by submitting your question, design concept, or proposed application to us here.
We recommend using the Applications Inquiry Worksheet available here to assist in collecting the information for discussion (PDF format, 69 kB).

Center personnel are committed to responding to requests within one working day. For your information, the ensuing process will normally involve some or all of the following steps.
- Technical Review: The MTC staff will review your inquiry and respond or initiate communications to further identify and specify your need.
- Defining Requirements: Discuss and define design operational parameters, environmental considerations, and manufacturing cost considerations.
- Design Solution: Our Application Engineers, working jointly with you and your associates, will develop a design solution.
- Prototype & Testing: A prototype is manufactured and subjected to rigorous testing at the Center and at the customer's facility.
- Production Assistance: Our assistance continues beyond the prototype stage to ensure that you are able to successfully manufacture and apply the design.
