DESIGN OF PERMANENT MAGNET SYSTEMS

TARGET AUDIENCE
Persons who are seeking a detailed course in permanent magnetic materials and applications, for example: Design, Application and Production Engineers.

CONTENT
Course content has been formulated for those persons with a basic understanding of magnetics. Persons wishing to attend should consider first attending the basic seminar called Introduction to Soft and Permanent Magnetism.

Knowledge gained from the sensor and motor design sections can be applied to a variety of other products such as actuators and holding devices. Attendees will participate in both classroom and hands-on laboratory sessions dealing with:

  • Magnetizing and Demagnetizing

  • Permanent Magnet Motor Basics
  • Magnetic Circuit Design Using FEA-BEA Software
  • Group Discussion & Concluding Remarks
