Securing the future of magnetics, one partnership at a time.

Arnold Magnetic Technologies Corporation (“Arnold”), a subsidiary of Compass Diversified (NYSE: CODI), and a leading global manufacturer of high-performance magnets and precision components, is driving the next chapter in rare earth magnet manufacturing, forging strategic partnerships to secure a resilient, transparent, and sustainable supply chain. Arnold empowers industries where reliability is non-negotiable.
Through a 2025 supply agreement with Less Common Metals (LCM) and Solvay, Arnold ensured guaranteed access to premium, rare-earth oxides and alloys, including samarium oxide. This material is vital for producing samarium-cobalt (SmCo) magnets in aerospace and defense systems.
In March 2026, Arnold announced a mutual distribution partnership with USA Rare Earth Inc., combining Arnold’s precision magnet expertise with USA Rare Earth’s domestic NdFeB processing capabilities. Together, the company has created a U.S. and U.K.-aligned “mine-to-magnet” framework that enhances the availability of both SmCo and NdFeB materials for mission-critical applications across energy, medical, scientific, and defense sectors.
