Navigating government compliance when it comes to rare earth elements for permanent magnets can be confusing. Besides the usual requirements for ITAR and DFARS, there are additional regulations from the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)/John McCain Act, as well as licensing pitfalls to avoid. In this webinar, we’ll review terms, explain the various regulations and help you learn where to find regulation and legislation, points data should be protected, and properly vet suppliers to ensure your relationship with your aerospace, defense and government customers is protected.
The presentation will wrap up with a short Q&A as time permits.
Speaker: Aaron Williams, VP Sales & Marketing
Williams has 15 years of engineering and R&D experience in the magnetics industry, and is an active participant in industry collaborations including motor and motion, magnetics, MCMA, ECCE and IEEE/IEMDC.
